I will never trust you again. You have said that tags don't need to be mean anything. I have changed as you said and you ruined my Etsyshop :) Yes for real.
Can you specify the timing where I said that?
I’ve actually made the video where I specifically talk about not touching your tags on an active listings. I don’t recall saying that you can change your tags on an active listing. I did talk about that SEO is not as important as it used to be so the focus should be more on design than SEO, but it doesn’t imply that you need to change the tags on an existing active listing.
How much money in ads daily? and how many products did you promote? I'm trying to find the secret sauce :)
Well, I have $1000 available for spending in a day, however, I don’t always spend that, the amount I spend usually is anywhere from $50-$200 on advertisement. Out of 200 products I advertised 15 products. I usually run advertisement on any new product for the first two weeks.
I don't understand what is the ad strategy? I get tons of clicks on some products but no sales, it's very frustrating!
Your design of product and listing is the only thing you can control in regards to your listing performance, including ads. My point is you want to set up your listing to result in good advertisement. Try to bring the thumbnail as close to the keywords as possible, in summary is what I meant.
The fake lower pricing is scummy. The majority of people ARE price driven...even if you have better designs, customers will almost always buy based on price. It's what people have been conditioned to do, sadly.
Etsy has structured its purchasing experience from a list of favors. If price is a factor, then they are going to lead to the side of the cheapest item, from their favorite list when they make a decision. It’s not always appropriate for sure. Especially if you’re selling something like a party supplies, wear price is a factor then this is not the best strategy. But products that this is appropriate for is products that they tend to not compare in regards to price, but they like a certain design over the other. A lot of retail stores do this, they’ll actually not put the price tag on the product, and would rather have customers think about the price after they made decision whether that product is right for them.
Build etsy? I think we need a new platform!

I did end up opening up the shops, but they continue to suspend them, the billing is continuing to be an issue, I got an automatic loop with the Etsy system. I pivoted to becoming a print on demand for other dog collar shops on Etsy, and I think that’s even better for me.

@@Alex-vt1ni my working theory is that my billing has been screwed, so any changes I make to any of my Etsy shops in regards to billing, will flag something in the system. My initial seven dollar billing problem is probably what caused the whole thing to start. Etsy is very automated and I’m assuming the system is just on a loop.

Yes, that definitely makes a bigger impact, as that will improve your click through rate. And click through rate pretty much drives velocity.

Thank you very much for sharing this. I have a question, maybe you could help: Is it possible for different sellers on ETSY to work together? For example, recommending suitable complementary products from other sellers' stores (or recommending suitable matching products from each other's stores) on their own product pages at the same time? For example, I sell kitchen knives and another seller sells kitchen plates. Perhaps it would be possible to increase sales for both parties if they could form a combination of products?
Yes, it is totally possible, although it is not by using the Etsy platform, you would have to do order fulfillment via ShipStation, and then you create a print on demand like relationship with your partnering Etsy shop. Essentially what would happen is their orders will come into your ShipStation (it’s a third-party order fulfillment, platform that connects to your Etsy shop, or Amazon via API) and you will fulfill them if it’s your orders and same thing for them, they will connect to your Etsy shop and they will see the orders that you will assign for them to fulfill once the orders are made. I am a handmade seller on Amazon (I believe I was approved last year but didn't do much with the account) and have access to the customization and all the other tabs, but they don't look the same as your video. All my listings go under Handmade category. The customization showing for me under the building the product process, not after I save it. Just a FYI in case for some people might not look the same.
Have you tried the customization after you saved it?

Have you ever considered making your own website to sell your items? I presume it's not worth it unless you have a massive social media following because you'd have to burn too much money to advertise it?
It’s a different marketing strategy to grow your own website, essentially building up back links and growing social media following for a specific product. I can’t use this social media following because it is geared towards training at the sellers. It’s just another set of efforts that I don’t want to currently invest into. It’s a shorter path to sales at scale to advertise on a marketplace

Hi, Vlad! How do you handle shipping? What are your amazon fees? I saw you have lots of bad reviews on amazon, how do you handle that also?
We ship everything from our shop, Amazon customers are a lot more brutal then etsy went it comes to reviews. Amazon does not reach out to all customers to ask for reviews like Etsy would. So the custimers on Amazon come to leave reviews on there own, which will garner a different ratio of bad vs good reviews then Etsy

@@TheKempolek absolutely, the secret is I use advertisement as a tool to grow my organic. I don’t run advertisement all the time. So most of the 70,000 came from organic.
Woow, with-hold payments for over month and half? So, Amazon is building their empire on Amazon sellers...
It’s mostly to refund custimers if they didn’t like the product, it gives customers about 15 days to interact with your product before they release the funds. Amazon makes it customer first all the time.
@thetalkshop if holding funds for 15 days on handmade products, then it is ok for small handmade vendors. With the current economy, we do need more handmade platforms to keep the economy more vibrant and robust! Back in 2008, there were plenty of handmade products on the eBay, but shortly being phased out by imported products. Then, with all drop shipping populated here and everywhere... With the rise and fall of Etsy, now handmade is rare finds nowadays...
